Karan Johar’s reality series, The Tribe, finally premiered on Amazon Prime Video amid much anticipation. Released on October 4, the show featured popular Internet names like Alanna Panday and Alaviaa Jaaferi, offering a peek into the lives of young Indian influencers who decided to step out from the comforts of their homes to settle in Los Angeles, California. Upon its release, the reality show instantly became the talk of the town and has the Internet buzzing with excitement. Fans also shared their reviews of the series on social media. The Tribe explores the story of five Indian content creators who are settled in Los Angeles with an aim to achieve big. Apart from Alanna Pandey and Alaviaa Jaaferi, the show also features influencers Srushti Porey, Aryaana Gandhi and Alfia Jafry. Entrepreneur Hardik Zaveri, is also seen in the show, as an investor who funds their dreams.

ICYDW, Alanna Panday is Ananya Panday’s cousin whereas Alaviaa Jaaferi is Jaaved Jaaferi’s daughter. The series has been directed by Omkar Potdar and written by Aneesha Baig, produced under the banner of Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment.

Earlier, the filmmaker, in a statement shared with the media, spoke about the reality series. He explained, “The series promises to take viewers on an exhilarating journey, capturing a group of young, new-age content creators as they navigate their ambitions, aspirations, and unfiltered personalities while striving to make their mark in the major leagues.”

As for Alanna Panday, the influencer is married to the US-based filmmaker Ivor. The couple also welcomed a baby boy in July this year and named their newborn River.
