Kannada actor Sunil Raoh, who has been out of the spotlight for a long time, is now all set to reportedly make his comeback with the upcoming film Hayagrriva. Directed by Raghukumar OR, Hayagrriva stars actor Dhanveerrah and actress Sanjana Anand as leads. According to reports, Sunil will have a special role in Hayagrriva, but details related to it have not been disclosed in the public domain. The film’s poster was released by Dhanveerrah on February 2. It shows half of his, and half Lord Ganesha’s faces juxtaposed. As per the reports, Hayagrriva is set in two distinct timelines and will show the combination of mythology and crime.
Hayagrriva is billed to be a family entertainer with a romantic element. This film also stars Ravishankar, Rangayana Raghu, Rajesh Nataranga and others in the key roles. On the technical front, Judah Sandhy scored the music of this film. Karthik S is the cinematographer and Umesh RB is the editor of the movie. Anand Audio unveiled the teaser of this movie on February 2, 2024. The teaser has garnered more than 11,00,000 views and counting.
Sunil Raoh has also roped in to play the role of Hindutva ideology Vinayak Veer Damodar Savarkar in a film. The Kannada biopic of Savarkar will be directed by Radhakrishna Pallaki, who has directed five films. These movies include Sri Kshetra Kaivarathatayai and Chaitrada Chandramma. This will be Radhakrishna’s first biopic and he’s done six months of research on the subject.
Sunil is extremely excited to play the role of Savarkar and talked about this role in an interview with a news portal. He said that Radhakrishna will be showing the accounts of Veer Savarkar’s life that are already in the public domain. He added that he is extremely happy to play the character of such an important figure in Indian history. According to him, he doesn’t look at any particular perspective, while playing a character like Savarkar.
