Kannada actor Abhhimanyuu Kashinath starrer Ellige Payana Yavudo Daari is about to release at the cinema halls on October 25. This film, written and directed by Kiran S Suryaa, is a special project for the actor Abhhimanyuu. It is because he has tried to mimic his father, the late director Kashinath, in this film’s promo released on October 4.
Abhhimanyuu talked about this aspect in an interview with the News-18 Kannada Digital. The 12 AM Madhyarathri actor added that no one was ready to impersonate his father’s voice. So, in the end, he stepped in to do the needful. The audience can watch the promo on Anand Audio Entertainment’s YouTube channel. The promo shows the awards won by the director Kashinath and his family photographs. In an interesting twist, the glimpse also shows Ellige Payana Yavudo Daari’s cast interacting with Kashinath (impersonated by Abhhimanyuu). The voiceover prompts the audience to watch the film Ellige Payana Yavudo Daari in the cinema halls. Jattin Patel and III Ventures has produced Ellige Payana Yavudo Daari and Pranav Rao has scored music for this film.
Ellige Payana Yavudo Daari stars Ramesh Nayak, Raja Balwadi, Spoorti Udimane and others in important roles.
Abhhimanyuu has yet to cement his position in the Kannada entertainment industry. Unlike his father, he has not been able to win accolades from the audience and critics. He talked about this aspect in an earlier interview with the Times of India. According to him, “I don’t really know if it is a boon or a bane to be born as an offspring of a celebrity. As an actor, you tend to get more projects considering the movies that your parents had earlier worked for." The Ellige Payana Yavudo Daari actor said that his father had carved a niche for himself in the comedy genre in the films. Abhimanyuu recalled being offered films in similar genres but he wanted to explore other fields.
Abhhimanyuu Kashinath will next act in the films Suri Loves Sandhya and an untitled project headlined by Adhyayan Suman. Both films are currently in pre-production and their release dates are not yet revealed to the public.
