Inspired by true events, Gurgaon, is the directorial debut of National award-winning cinematographer of Frozen, Shanker Raman and stars Akshay Oberoi, Ragini Khanna and Pankaj Tripathi
The film revolves around Kehri Singh, a real estate baron, who runs his business ‘Preet Real Estate’ in his daughter’s name. While she is his lucky charm, his oldest son Nikki Singh is brash, insolent, good for nothing. Driven by his need to pay off a large debt to a local bookie, Nikki Singh sets off a chilling chain of events, that unwittingly force his cold-blooded father to confront his buried past.
Gurgaon, is a story that reminds us of the popular famous saying, what goes around, comes around.
The film has been selected at Work-In-Progress Lab of NFDC Film Bazaar in 2015 and bagged the Prasad DI Award in the fiction feature category.
