‘Dreams Do Come True’: Amitabh Bachchan's Granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda Joins IIM

Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan’s granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda, has made a name for herself as a young entrepreneur and social activist, advocating for gender equality and hosting a successful podcast. With these accomplishments under her belt, Navya is now poised to embark on a new academic journey. She is set to pursue a BPGP course at the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Ahmedabad over the next two years.

On Instagram, Navya shared various photos from inside the IIM, Ahmedabad campus, with her friends. The first photo showed her dressed in a black suit and standing next to the IIM signboard. She also posted images of the lush green campus and some of her new classmates she met there. Sharing her excitement, Navya wrote, “Dreams do come true!!!!!! The next 2 years… with the best people & faculty! Blended Post Graduate Programme (BPGP) Class of 2026.” Most of her followers were quite happy about her achievement and congratulated her for seeking admission to the prestigious program.

Navya’s mother, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, commented on the post, stating, “You make me so proud baby.” Abhishek Bachchan reacted to the post with a heart emoji.

Her close friends, Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor, also dropped several heart emojis to appreciate her. Ananya Panday shared fun emojis on her post, while her mother Bhavana Pandey wrote, “Congratulations..good luck and lots of love.” Karisma Kapoor commented, “Congrats Navya,” while Sonali Bendre wrote, “All the best darling.”

Later, Navya Naveli Nanda expressed her gratitude towards her teacher who guided her through the CAT exam preparation and helped her secure admission to IIM Ahmedabad. She posted a photo with her teacher and others from her coaching institute, celebrating her success with a cake. In her heartfelt note, she wrote, “This is Prasad Sir, who played the biggest role in coaching and preparing me for the CAT/IAT entrance exams. One of the best teachers I’ve ever had the honor of learning from.”

Earlier this year, Navya Naveli Nanda had hinted at her preparation for the CAT exam. In a casual photo dump, she shared images featuring a pile of reading materials and study resources, giving her followers a glimpse into her exam preparation journey.

It is worth mentioning that the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad is one of the top-ranked universities in India. Apart from her entrepreneurial venture, Navya is quite popular for her podcast What The Hell Navya which has had two successful seasons so far. She appeared in the podcast along with her grandmother, Jaya Bachchan, and mother, Shweta. They discussed feminism and women’s roles in society, among other topics.
