The 2005 comedy No Entry, starring Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan, became a cult classic. Now, nearly twenty years later, a sequel is being planned.

In 2005, the comedy No Entry, directed by Anees Bazmee and starring Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan, became a cult classic and the year’s highest-grossing film. Now, almost twenty years later, a sequel is in the works. Pinkvilla reports that filming is expected to finish by June next year.

A source close to the production recently told ETimes, “Director Anees Bazmee will begin No Entry 2 with Diljit, Varun, and Arjun in double roles and 10 leading ladies from December 2024. He plans to wrap the shoot by June 2025. The sequel will be a Zee Studios – Bayview production.” Earlier, a source had revealed to Pinkvilla, “While Anees Bazmee is on board No Entry 2 as a writer and director, the makers have got together Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh to lead the film. The trio is supremely excited about the script and have given their nod to the story.”

“No Entry 2 is a hilarious script that has got every single person excited. The No Entry sequel will go on floors in December 2024 and be a big theatrical release in 2025, marking 20 years of the first part,” the source had added.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Anil Kapoor is upset with his elder brother and producer Boney Kapoor over No Entry sequel casting. The original film starred Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Esha Deol, Lara Dutta, Bipasha Basu and Celina Jaitly. Boney Kapoor has revealed that Anil wanted to be a part of the sequel, but unfortunately, there was “no space”.

Anil is not talking to his brother properly ever since the news about the No Entry 2 casting leaked online. Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Arjun Kapoor are reported to be the new leads in the sequel of No Entry. “Before I could tell my brother Anil about the No Entry sequel and the cast involved, he got angry as the news was already leaked. It was unfortunate that it was leaked. I know he wanted to be a part of the No Entry sequel, but there was no space. I wanted to explain why I did what I did,” Boney told Zoom in an interview.
