Fresh off his captivating performance in Imtiaz Ali’s Chamkila, the Punjabi heartthrob is gearing up for his debut appearance on ‘The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.’ During a recent interview with Raj Shamani, Diljit shared his thoughts on this exciting opportunity and also spilled beans about his musical act.
When asked about his upcoming appearance on the renowned American talk show, Diljit humbly remarked, “Thik hai dekhte hai, abhi jaa ke pata chalega. Pehli feeling ka toh nai pata, abhi jayenge dekhenge kya hota hai (Let’s see, we’ll know after going there. I don’t know about the first feeling. We’ll go and see what happens).” To the question of whether he has ever watched the show, Diljit confidently responded, “Haan meine dekha hai (I have seen it).”
Diljit Dosanjh also revealed an exciting detail about his upcoming appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, that he will be performing a musical act. When probed about his song choice, Diljit shared his laid-back approach, saying, “Gaana abhi decide nahi kiya. Wo plane mein, decide ho jayega. I haven’t decided on the song yet. Will decide on the plane).”

The guest list for the week on the popular show, also included acclaimed actors Eddie Murphy, Kevin Costner, and The Bear star Matty Matheson.
Earlier this year, Diljit made waves in Canada where he performed to a thrilled crowd at Vancouver’s BC Place stadium, where more than 54,000 fans witnessed his electrifying presence.
The enthusiastic crowd cheered loudly, underscoring his legendary status in the music industry. The concert was notable not only for the massive turnout but also for its rarity among Punjabi music events outside India.
