Dhruva Sarja's Action Thriller Martin Hits Cinemas, Fans Celebrate

Martin, the Kannada actor Dhruva Sarja starrer action thriller film has finally hit the theatres today, October 11. Directed by AP Arjun and backed by Uday K Mehta Productions and Vasavi Enterprises, the film has been creating significant buzz online ever since its announcement. The film, which has been released in 13 languages, including English worldwide also features an ensemble star cast of actors Vaibhavi Shandilya, Anveshi Jain, Nawab Shah and others.

As Martin hit theatres today, fans of the superstar celebrated the release of his much-awaited film with great excitement. It has been receiving positive reviews from fans and critics alike.

However, many fans across Karnataka and Telugu stated were left disappointed after some cinema halls cancelled the morning shows of Martin without prior notification. Following that several users took to social media platform X to voice their complaints about the cancellations.

Also, the actor, in a heartfelt gesture, on October 11 organised a special screening of Martin at the Gemini Cinema in Bandra, Mumbai for fans to honour the birthday of the megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

Recently, a pre-release event of the film was organised in Davanagere, Karnataka during which the director, AP Arjun applauded the entire film’s cast and said that they had worked hard for the film.

Showering praises on Dhruva Sarja for his commitment to his art, the director recalled how the actor used to be patient for two hours while sitting for the tattoo to be inked on his body and said that the smell of the tattoo can lead to headaches but Dhruva endured all the sufferings.

Martin marks the second collaboration of Dhruva Sarja with director AP Arjun, after his super hit debut film Addhuri. Apart from that he has also appeared in films like Bahaddur, Bharjari and Pogaru among others.

He will be next seen in the much-anticipated action thriller film KD: The Devil which will be hitting the big screens in November 2024. Helmed by Prem, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Jisshu Sengupta, Nora Fatehi, Ramesh Aravind, V Ravichandran and others.
