Dhanush has cast his vote as part of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. On Friday morning, the Tamil superstar was seen reaching a polling booth in Chennai to cast his vote. Dhanush was surrounded by his security team. In a video surfaced on X, previously known as Twitter, Dhanush reached the polling booth in his luxury car with his security team. Dhanush’s team along with the police officials stationed at the polling booth helped keep the paparazzi at bay.
The actor cast his vote and was seen posing with his inked finger for the cameras. Dhanush was spotted shortly after his former father-in-law, superstar Rajinikanth was seen at a polling booth, casting his vote. See photos and videos below:

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth was spotted at a polling booth in Stella Maris College in Chennai In videos and photos surfaced online, the actor was seen walking into the polling booth and was instantly mobbed.
In a video shared on X, Rajinikanth was seen waiting for his turn to cast his vote. Once he finished the process, he showed off his inked finger. On his way out, Rajinikanth spoke to the media. In his statement to the press, he urged everyone to cast their vote. He said that there is no pride is saying that you have not voted. He added that it is a duty of a citizen to vote and urged everyone to cast their vote.
Besides Dhanush and Rajinikanth, stars such as Ajith Kumar, Ilayaraja, Sarath Kumar, Radhika Sarath Kumar and Sivakarthikeyan were also seen casting their votes in Chennai.
The first phase of seven-phase voting began on April 19, Friday. Tamil Nadu is among the first states to go into voting.
