Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi celebrates his 69th birthday on Thursday, August 22.

In what can be dubbed a festival for fans, Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi turned 69 on Thursday, August 22. Known for his work in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and even Hindi films, Chiranjeevi enjoys a massive fanbase across the country, thanks to his celebrated film career. On his 69th birthday this year, social media is overwhelmed with heartmelting wishes and love from fans and celebrities. Many Tollywood stars have extended their greetings.

To begin with, fans’ very own Pushpa Raj, aka Allu Arjun, wished Chiranjeevi on social media. “Many happy returns of the day to our megastar Chiranjeevi garu,” he wrote.

RRR star Jr NTR also shared a birthday wish for the cinema icon and wrote, “A very happy birthday Chiranjeevi Garu @KChiruTweets. Wishing you a year filled with joy, success and good health.”

Actor Sai Dharam Tej added a sweet post for his maternal uncle along with a bunch of Chiranjeevi’s pictures. “Happy Birthday to My Supreme Hero, the one I look upto & aspire to do service to the people like him, My Dearest Pedha Mama @KChiruTweets Wishing you all the good health, love, happiness, laughter & happiest of the years #HBDMegastarChiranjeevi,” he wrote.

Venkatesh Daggubati wished Chiranjeevi, with a picture of the duo and wrote, “Happy Birthday, my friend @KChiruTweets! Wishing you peace, health and happiness always.”

Mahesh Babu also tweeted on the actor’s birthday and wrote, “Happy birthday @KChiruTweets garu! Wishing you peace, great health, and continued success.”

Amid all social media posts, the Khaidi actor’s brother, politician Pawan Kalyan, also came forward with a strong message. In a statement, Kalyan lauded his elder brother’s unparalleled contributions and compassion for others.

In the meantime, the Telugu star marked his birthday by paying a visit to the auspicious Tirupati temple with his family. Dressed in a traditional dhoti and kurta, Chiranjeevi was accompanied by his mother, wife Surekha, his granddaughter and other Konidela family members.

On the work front, the makers of his highly-anticipated film Vishwambhara also unveiled a captivating pre-look poster on Thursday. Showing Chiranjeevi in a powerful stance with a Trishul in his hand, the striking image promises an epic showdown. “When darkness and evil take over the world, a shall shine bright to fight Happy birthday, MEGASTAR @KChiruTweets. Let the world witness your aura with #Vishwambhara,” the post read.

The film releases on January 10, 2025.
