ARMYs were in for a surprise when Jungkook’s childhood photos appeared in the I Am Still documentary.

The highly anticipated documentary I Am Still, featuring BTS star Jungkook, has finally been released globally. Offering a glimpse into the Golden Maknae’s journey with exclusive interviews and performances, the documentary primarily explores Jungkook’s creative process behind his debut solo album Golden. While ARMYs were eager to witness his growth, they were pleasantly surprised when childhood photos of Jungkook appeared on screen, stealing the spotlight. The images, showcasing a young Jungkook with adorable chubby cheeks, melted hearts worldwide. Although fans have been careful not to reveal spoilers, social media quickly filled with photos of little Jungkook, as fans showered love on BTS’ youngest member.

The documentary features heartwarming pictures of Jungkook with his rosy red cheeks and adorable smile from his childhood. Some images reveal his emotional side, with Jungkook nearly in tears, while others capture him posing playfully for the camera. These precious glimpses into the Seven singer’s early years have sent fans into a frenzy, unable to get enough of his cuteness. Sharing the images, one fan exclaimed, “New Jungkook baby pictures from I Am Still OMG."

In the first trailer of I Am Still, Jungkook is seen feeling anxious before a performance, wondering if he would gain recognition without the support of BTS. The South Korean idol reflects, saying, “With all these achievements, I gained more self-confidence. I’ve never thought of myself as a genius. I just know the areas I lack in, so I strive to be better too. I always say this, but ARMY always fires me up. I just follow my own compass. It’s always more fun with the fans."

Meanwhile, Golden features international stars such as Jack Harlow, Latto, Usher and DJ Snake. The album includes 11 tracks, including hits like Seven, 3D, Yes Or No, Please Don’t Change and Standing Next To You. Currently, Jungkook is fulfilling his mandatory military service in South Korea. Except Jin, Jungkook and the rest of the BTS members including RM, Suga, Jimin, J Hope and V, are expected to reunite and make a comeback in 2025. While I Am Still has been released globally, Jungkook’s documentary is scheduled to be released in India on September 20.
