Arjun Kapoor joined his half-sister Janhvi Kapoor and father Boney Kapoor at the premiere of Maidaan. The film is produced by Boney and it stars Ajay Devgn in the lead. In videos shared online from the screening, Arjun was seen making his way to the premiere with Janhvi by his side. As they headed to the premiere, Arjun was seen teasing the paparazzi. He joked that they appear everywhere, regardless of the event and time.
He then posed with the family. However, the paparazzi requested him to pose solo. The actor, visibly tired, obliged to pose for the cameras but requested that it would be the last of it for the night. Arjun was seen sporting an all-black look for the night. He also flaunted his look from his upcoming film, Singham Again aka Singham 3 on the red carpet. Watch the video below:
Maidaan is set to release on April 11, on the occasion of Eid. News18 gave the film a 3.5 star rating and wrote in its review: “The biggest striker of this football match is Ajay Devgn. While we had an expressive coach in the form of Shah Rukh Khan in Chak De! India, Ajay’s Rahim is completely opposite, reminding us that his eyes do most of the talking.”
“While Ajay keeps you invested in him and his character, Gajraj Rao gets you riled up with his performance as a vindictive journalist. It is probably the first time in his career, since Black Friday, that Gajraj Rao is going to make people angry with his character on screen. He truly deserves the applause,” the review added.
Maidaan stars Ajay Devgn, Gajraj Rao, Priya Mani and more. The film is directed by Amit Sharma.
Meanwhile, Arjun will be seen in Singham Again which is set to release this year. The Rohit Shetty film will show Arjun playing a fierce villain.
