Aparshakti Khurana On Collaborating With Brother Ayushmann: 'Film Has To Be Like Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar'
"For us to come together, the script has to be really special," Aparshakti Khurana said.

Aparshakti Khurana has steadily made a name for himself in the entertainment industry through a series of comedy dramas. He gained widespread recognition for his role as Binod Das in the web series Jubilee and has several exciting projects lined up. Aparshakti’s brother, Ayushmann Khurrana, is also a well-known figure in the industry. While fans are already impressed by their individual performances, the duo is yet to collaborate on a project. In a recent interview, Aparshakti shared his thoughts on the possibility of working with Ayushmann in the future.

In a conversation with Cyrus Broacha on his show Cyrus Says, Aparshakti Khurana revealed that over the past eight years since he entered the industry and moved to Mumbai, he and Ayushmann have considered around 10 script narrations from various production houses.

“He (Ayushmann) has had a tremendous growth and graph in his space, and I have a gradual graph in a different journey. So for us to come together, the script has to be really special. Maybe something like a Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar. If there is a remake… I am not saying a remake exactly, but a film which is very pure, organic, something with music or sports,” Aparshakti Khurana said.

During the interview, Aparshakti Khurana also shed light on the difference in the spelling of the surname between himself and his brother. He clarified that this variation had no correlation with their success in Bollywood. Instead, he revealed that their father’s guruji was responsible for the difference, as it was decided when they were born.

Aparshakti Khurana made his Bollywood debut with a standout performance in the blockbuster film Dangal. Later, he appeared in several hit films including Stree, Pati Patni Aur Woh and Luka Chuppi. Aparshakti Khurrana is set to star in Stree 2 alongside Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor. Apart from that, if reports are to be believed, Aparshakti Khurana will collaborate with Vaani Kapoor and Paresh Rawal on a family dramedy written and directed by Navjot Gulati.
