Ananya Panday is currently basking in the success of her latest movie, CTRL. Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, the movie saw her sharing the screen with Vihaan Samat. The movie revolved around technology and social media. In a recent interview, the actor revealed that she loves sharing crying pictures on her social media as she thinks that it makes her look good.
In a conversation with Netflix India, Ananya Panday revealed that she thinks that she looks good after crying. She mentioned that crying gives her a natural glow and a glassy-eye effect. She mentioned that she looks at herself when she has a breakdown and says ‘Not bad’ and then goes back to crying. She also added that the best pictures come after she has cried because it gives a natural flush to her cheeks.
Panday said, “I look really good when I cry. I love crying.”

In an earlier interview, the actor had spoken about her love for crying. She said that she finds it tough to express herself in overwhelming situations and she starts crying immediately. Panday spoke about how she likes to take a step back in tough situations and take a breather, even though she does not like it. But she added how stepping back has always helped her.
Panday recently spoke about how she cringes whenever she looks at herself on the screen. “I think I have gotten better at looking at myself on screen, but when I started out, even if someone was watching a video of me on their phone, I would run out of the room,” said the actor while speaking to Humans Of Bombay.
On the work front, the actor will be seen in a movie with Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan. The movie has been tentatively titled Shankara. The movie is based on a book by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat – The Case That Shook The Empire. It will be backed by Karan Johar and will be helmed by Karan Singh Tyagi.
