Alec Baldwin Has This To Say About Having 8th Baby With Wife Hilaria

It won’t be wrong to say that the Baldwins are one big and happy family. Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria Baldwin share seven children together, welcoming their youngest one in September 2022. The couple who tied the knot in 2012 share three daughters, Carmen Gabriela, Maria Lucia Victoria and Ilaria Catalina Irena, along with four sons, Rafael Thomas, Leonardo Angel Charles, Romeo Alejandro David and Eduardo Pao Lucas. The Boss Baby star is also father to daughter, Ireland Baldwin, whom he shares with his ex Kim Basinger. Already a father of eight, the actor recently got candid about thoughts of having more children.

Speaking on the recent episode of Our Way with Paul Anka and Skip Bronson podcast, the 66-year-old opened up about plans to grow his family. As host Paul Anka asked if Alec wanted more children, the 30 Rock star clarified that he doesn’t want to have another baby and instead wants to work now.

Alec Baldwin Speaks on Having Another Kid

During the podcast, the actor began by teasing that he is the only person who drops four kids off at school in the morning and comes home to still have three kids waiting for him. Recalling falling in love with his wife and getting married, he said that they went through a cycle of wanting many children.

“I have eight children. I have got my oldest daughter. She has a baby and lives in Oregon with her boyfriend. I met my wife and we had seven kids. It’s crazy,” Alec added.

On being asked if he wants more children in the future, the actor said, “Oh man, how dare you ask me that question. I think I’m done. I found that as I got older, work became less interesting to me. I’m interested, you know, I wanna work and I like to work. But they just don’t make that many films anymore that I think are interesting. Plus, we’re all older. Whatever I’ve done in the past, I try not to be duplicative of that.”

Hilaria Baldwin Is Not Interested in Having More Babies

Earlier in a cover story for Romper, Hilaria Baldwin also echoed similar thoughts, explaining that their youngest child was “most definitely, almost completely the last baby.” While mentioning that she may not be interested in having any more kids, Hilaria noted that her husband has not ‘committed’ to it yet.
