Actress Nithya Menen has always been an active social media user. She often posts glimpses of her different shoots in sarees. In her recent post, she was seen wearing a red silk saree teamed up with a blue blouse. She was dressed like a Bengali bride with Kolkata’s famous ornaments. She wore gold earrings along with a maang tika and an elegant-looking nose pin attached to the earring, which gave her a goddess-like look. The recent shoot was a recreation of the character of Mrinmoyi from Satyajit Ray’s famous film Samapti. The shoot was a collaborative work between Nithya Menen and famous creative director and stylist, Prasenjit Das. Sharing the photos on her Instagram handle she wrote: “Mrinmoyi from Samapti, directed by Satyajit Ray (based on Tagore’s short story of the same name). It is a love story, which shows the journey of its lead character Mrinmoyi from being an unruly and carefree young girl to a loving wife. Reimagine is an attempt at creating a fresh look for the character and spinning a new story out of them. But all are re-interpretations with an intriguing approach while retaining the visual essence of the original works.”

The recreation was the depiction of Mrinmoyi’s different posture, who was a carefree young girl who later turned into a loving wife after her marriage. Commenting on her elegant look, a user wrote, “Indulging in the blissfulness of your pure beauty,”; another user commented, “So beautiful, so elegant, just looking like a wow.”
Nithya Menen is celebrating her 36th birthday today. She has acted in multiple superhit films. She has worked in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu industries, with more than 50 films under her name. Nithya Menen was first seen playing the lead role in KP Kumaran’s Malayalam film, Aakasha Gopuram alongside Mohanlal. In 2019, she acted in Mission Mangal marking her debut in Bollywood.
