Actor Shashank Ketkar Slams Authorities For Potholes On Thane’s Mira Road
The actor shared photos and videos of potholes in Mira Road on Instagram.

Shashank Ketkar is a popular actor in the Marathi entertainment industry. He is currently working on the show Muramba. It airs on Star Pravah. Apart from being a prolific actor, Sashank Ketkar is also known to voice his opinions on political and administrative issues. He uses social media to present the problems of the public to the people in power. Recently, the actor shared photos and videos of potholes in Mira Road on Instagram. He shared a video as well. Shashank questioned the authorities about the lack of development in several areas of Mumbai. In the video, Sashank Ketkar said that he had posted some photos and videos of potholes on Mira Road. “You must have seen the photo video I posted. On the day of Janmashtami, I want to post this video on purpose. Shameless politics has been going on in our entire state. It is accepted that there is a lot of pressure on them. But responsibilities have been given on their shoulders so that they can handle this pressure,” said Shashank Ketkar.

He further compared the Mira Road to almost every other area in Mumbai for the lack of facilities. The actor said that after watching the potholes on the Mira Road, he felt ‘angry and ashamed’. He mentioned that a Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj statue has not been revealed for more than three months. He indirectly took a jab at the dirty politics behind the development of Mumbai.

“The statue has not been unveiled yet. Discussions will continue as to which politician’s ticket will be released to unveil it. Putting the statue there and beautifying it is the activity behind it. If we calculate the last three to four months, I have shown you the condition of that road,” said Shashank Ketkar.

The lack of good roads near the Chhatrapati statue can lead to several accidents, he said. He also talked about the increased possibility of accidents on the occasion of Janmashtami. He pleaded for the basic facilities for the workers and other commuters from the authorities. The actor inquired about the people accountable for the loss of lives due to potholes.
