BLACKPINK’s Jennie Teases Fans With Possible Date Of Her Solo Comeback In New Post
BLACKPINK’s Jennie recently teased her fans by sharing a cryptic post on her Instagram, possibly giving a hint of the release date of her new single.

BLACKPINK member Jennie teased her fans about her upcoming solo project. She dropped a hint about the project’s release date, making her fans more excited about her much-anticipated solo comeback. On September 26, the K-pop star posted two puzzle-like pictures on her Instagram account, which highlighted the number “1011.”

This cryptic clue has led BLINKs (the BLACKPINK fandom) to speculate that her highly anticipated single, titled Calling All Pretty Girls, is set to drop on October 11. Coincidentally, this date also marks the annual International Day of the Girl Child, dedicated to raising awareness about the challenges girls face. Jennie’s post was simple yet impactful, accompanied only by an orange heart emoji.

Calling All Pretty Girls will mark Jennie’s collaboration with Columbia Records. The latter also reacted to the singer’s post by dropping some orange heart emojis. Meanwhile, her fans soon took to the comment section of the post to pen their reaction to this slight hint of her upcoming project’s release date. One fan wrote, “GENIUS BRAIN!!!! Solid Marketing for her comeback. Here for it!!!” Another one said, “National girl day and national coming out day, I stan the best girl.” A third fan wrote, “One of the most awaited comebacks, so excited you’re finally releasing solo music.”

A day back, Jennie shared a video teasing her fans with the name of her next project. The short clip featured the singer walking towards a wall with a paper that reads, “Calling All Pretty Girl.” The BLACKPINK member shared the video with the same name and refrained from sharing any more details about her upcoming project.

Jennie made her debut as a K-pop idol in 2016 with the girl group BLACKPINK, with three other members: Jisoo, Lisa and Rose. They catapulted to fame with their peppy song numbers. Among the four, Jennie was the first member to launch her solo career. She released her first single titled Solo. In October 2022, she released her next single, You & Me. Moreover, the 28-year-old K-pop singer didn’t just limit herself to singing. She also tried her hands at acting, making her Hollywood debut with HBO’s The Idol. Owing to various controversies, the show created by the Canadian rapper The Weeknd was cancelled after its first season.

Meanwhile, Jennie also launched her own record label named Odd Atelier after she refused to sign a contract with YG Entertainment for her solo activities.
