In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Sachin Pilot of INC won in this seat defeating Yoonus Khan of BJP by a margin of 54,179 which was 31.58% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 63.56% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Ajit Singh of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Saud Saidi of IND by a margin of 30,343 votes which was 21.32% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 46.96% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Zakiya of INC won this seat beating Mahaveer Prasad of BJP by a margin of 10,536 votes which was 9.66% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 44.44% in the seat.
