In 2013, Sonadevi of NUZP emerged victorious in this seat beating Balveer Singh of BJP by a margin of 21,238 votes which was 11.88% of the total votes polled in the constituency. NUZP had a vote share of 36.78% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Daulat Raj of INC won this seat beating Nihal Chand of BJP by a margin of 5,042 votes which was 3.5% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 46.06% in the seat.
