HYDERABAD: To have a wider consultation on the Draft Metropolitan Development Plan for the Hyderabad Metropolitan Region together with the Draft Development Promotion Regulations, Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority will hold consultative meeting for Shamshabad Zone area from 2.30 pm onwards on November 22. The zonal level consultative meeting will be held for Shamshabad Zone area at Begums Function Hall, opposite Indira Hospital, Shamshabad on Tuesday.The zonal areas covered are Farooq Nagar (part), Kothur mandals of Mahaboobnagar district, Ibrahimpatnam, Kandukur, Maheshwaram, Manchal (part), Saroornagar and Shamshabad Yacharam (part) mandals of Ranga Reddy District.The Draft Metropolitan Development Plan for the Hyderabad Metropolitan Region together with the Draft Development Promotion Regulations has been notified in exercise of powers conferred under section 54 (1) and (2) and Section 13 (1) of the HMDA Act 2008, inviting public objections and suggestions from any person, body or authority in writing with effect from July 22 this year.The last date for filing objections and suggestions on the Draft Metropolitan Development Plan-2031 has been extended up to January 21, 2012. All objections / suggestions will be duly examined and considered before finalisation of the said plan and and the same will be forwarded to the Government for final approval.The general public and organisations interested can attend the consultative meeting for the Shamshabad zone area and offer their views and suggestions on the plan.
