West has been pushing me to return to music: Will Smith

New York: Hollywood star Will Smith says rapper Kanye West has been pushing him to return to the music scene.

The 44-year-old 'After Earth' star said that he and West have been in the studio a couple times but he would only release a new music again when he is truly inspired," reported New York Daily News.

"I have been messing around with Kanye. We were in the studio a couple of times," Smith said.

The actor was a successful rapper before making it to superstardom on the big screen.

Even after becoming a staple on television and in movies, Smith combined his acting and musical talents to release songs like the 'Fresh Prince of Bel Air' and 'Men In Black' themes.
