Vandalising temple: Man held

THIRUVANANTHAPUARAM: The Vattiyoorkavu police here on Thursday arrested a 30-year-old man on charges of vandalising a temple at Moonnammoodu. The accused was identified as Sree Hari, residing at Moonnammoodu. He had broken into the Ayiravalli Temple here the other day and destroyed the idols of Dwarapalakas and also other articles inside the sanctum sanctorum.  The police said that Sree Hari showed symptoms of mental disbalance. According to him, he vandalised the temple because nobody cared about his view points on existing practices of religious worship, said the police.  He was produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.
