Pakistan has said it will review ties with US after the death of Taliban chief Hakimullah Mehsud.
Islamabad: A war of words has now broken out between Pakistan and the US over killing of Pakistan Taliban chief Hakimullah Mehsud.
Pakistan's Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan accused the US of deliberately killing Mehsud to destabilise the peace process. He added that Pakistan would review its ties with the US.
Mehsud and three others were killed in the North Waziristan region in a US drone strike on Friday. His deputy Khan Said has now taken over as the head and has vowed revenge.
Meanwhile, Pakistan is on high alert.
