A UK national died in a heritage hotel situated on the Maheshwar fort campus near Khargone, though the exact cause of his demise was not yet known, police said on Monday. The deceased was identified as Harry Saint John Paul (66), they said.
Paul, who was staying in the hotel since October 30, suddenly fell in the premises on Sunday night following which he was rushed to his room where medical aid was provided to him, but he died, they said.
Police found a number of cameras and photographs in his hotel room and it appears that he was a photographer. The body was sent for autopsy to Indore, police said adding that only after getting postmortem report the exact cause of his death can be ascertained. A case has been registered in this regard and further investigations are on.
