Two persons with knives were on Thursday arrested from near a ground where BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will address a rally, police said in Gorakhpur.
Munnilal (50) and Tilakdhaari (48) were nabbed with knives from near the venue of Modi's rally in Manbela area, Assistant Superintendent of Police Paresh Pandey said. He said that they have been taken to Chituataal police station and were being interrogated.
"The convicts have been booked under the Arms Act," he added.
