Two die in road mishap

KOCHI: Two persons died and two others were seriously injured when a car in which they were travelling lost control and rammed into  an electric pole at Pottakkuzhi Junction, Elamakkara, on Saturday. The deceased are V P Sudeep, 26, of Alappatt Cross Road, Ravipuram, and Kurian Stephen, 26, of St Benedict Road, Kaloor. Other two persons who were in the car, Manu, 25, of Elamakkara, and Jose K Isaac, 25, of Kakkanad, suffered serious injuries and rushed to a private hospital in Kochi. The funeral of Sudeep was held on Saturday. The funeral of Kurian Stephen will be held at Ernakulam St Mary’s Basilica on Sunday.
