HYDERABAD: Unless a separate Telangana state is formed, the problems being faced by farmers will not end, Telagnana Joint Action Committee chiarman M Kodandaram has said. Speakingt at a round table on the crisis gripping the farm sector, he said agriculture had beocme capital-intensive in the Telangana region as frmers had to sink borewells. “In the Andhra region, the problems of tenant farmers are continuing. If the farmers in both the regions have to prosper, the only answer is bifurcation of the state,’’ he said.
