BANGALORE: Primary Education Minister Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri assured primary teachers that all their demands would be considered by the department, though none can be acted upon during the current academic year.After inaugurating the annual conference organised by Karnataka State Primary School Teachers Association, the minister said that the department would review the students-teachers ratio and reduce the number to 30:1.Also, other demands like re-defining the Primary Education Department would also be considered, he said.In an attempt to woo the teachers, he said that he would be their representative in the Assembly.
