'My Dream is to Reach Uranus' After Mars: Tesla CEO Elon Musk
This follows his livestream on Sunday night during which he discussed his new goal of visiting the solar system's seventh planet.

SpaceX’s Starship rocket on June 6 completed its fourth test flight. Elon Musk’s Starship is progressing towards being a completely reusable mega-rocket that can take individuals and cargo to Mars, the Moon and Earth orbit. The tech billionaire has been extremely outspoken about constructing a human community on Mars. Nevertheless, it appears that he has now turned his attention to Uranus.

Musk commented, “My dream is to reach Uranus,” in response to a video of himself that the X account had uploaded.

In the footage, Musk is heard saying, “We definitely want our rocket to reach Uranus. It’s a stretch goal to reach Uranus, but definitely something we should aim for.”

With over 49 million views on the social media platform, users came up with varied comments.

A user commented, “Those are the aspirations of true genius. One day we will get there due to this man.”

Another user went on to say, “Your dreams tend to come true!”

A third user said, “You’re shooting for the stars! Keep reaching for the stars, who knows, maybe one day you’ll make it to Uranus!”

This follows his livestream on Sunday night during which he discussed his new goal of visiting the solar system’s seventh planet.

If accomplished, it would mark a significant turning point in human history.

However, Musk has never shied away from a whimsical joke, so it’s possible this was a joke.

After making a joke about Tesla in his “4/20” joke, he was forced to step down as the company’s chairman and pay $20 million in fines each.

Starship has only been tested by SpaceX unmanned a few times thus far, the most recent being last week.

Musk stated on Sunday that, subject to FAA certification, he anticipates a fifth launch in “about a month.”

Previous efforts needed engineers to make improvements and regulators to inquire for at least three months.

In a Sunday night livestream, Musk declared several things regarding his goal for interplanetary progress while showcasing Starlink’s internet services, X’s live-streaming features and his Diablo IV skills.

The most important of these was the confirmation that SpaceX will try to make a Mars landing by 2027.
