KOCHI: TATA Docomo is expanding its network strength and reach across Kerala. Recently, TATA Docomo completed its network expansion to 100 plus sites in Ernakulam, Thrissur, Kollam, Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode. It also added 59 network sites in Palakkad, Kasargod, Malappuram, Wayanad and Kottayam dictricts. The entire network expansion programme is expected to be completed by March 2012. By then, TATA Docomo will be able to provide superior network coverage. “We are providing a robust network so our customers can experience seamless services even in the remote areas of Kerala,” Vinod Kumar Giyal, COO, TATA Teleservices Kerala, said in an interaction with media persons.TATA Docomo has launched Photon Max, a data service which provides double the speed of current High Speed Internet Access (HSIA), in Thiruvanathapuram and Ernakulam. It also poised to commence HSIA services in Kozhikode, Thrissur, Alleppy and Kollam by the end of January.TATA Docomo’s superior services are now available in more than 1005 towns and villages and has the support of more than 19,000 retail outlets in Kerala. “TATA Docomo is delivering the best GPRS network in the country. Thirty per cent of our customers are using GPRS which is far better than the services provided by the other providers,” Giyal added.
