Talent hunt is back with a bang

BANGALORE: The stage is set for the first quarter-finals of Voice of Bangalore Season 5 presented by Garuda Mall.This prestigious talent hunt reality show started five years back.After having successfully conducted the event for four years, this year the event was launched on July 22.During the launch, renowned play back singer Rajesh Krishnan and Sandalwood actress Priyanka Upendra were present.The Voice of Bangalore has created a sensational wave in the music circle throughout Karnataka.More than 25,000 participants have taken part in this competition over the last four years and truly this is one of the biggest talent hunts of Bangalore city and Karnataka.This year the Voice of Bangalore, has attracted participants from all walks of life including corporate companies, Government and private company’s employees, techies and students.The judges went to corporate companies like Tesco, Infosys, Patni Computers, Sasken Computers and colleges like National, Jain, Mount Carmel, Surana and conducted auditions.Audition for general public was conducted at Garuda Mall.This year they have received an overwhelming response and more than 7,000 participants have taken part in the audition.After screening all the participants, the judges have selected 16 quarter finalists, eight male and eight female contestants.They will fight for a place in the semi-finals.The first quarter finals will be held on September 8 and the second quarter finals will be held on September 16.Out of 16 contestants in the quarter-finals, four male and four female will move to the semi-finals, which will be held on September 23.Out of the eight semi-finalists, three male and three female contestants will move to the finals, which will be held on October 9.Among them, one male and one female singer will be declared as winner of Voice of Bangalore Season 5.Rajesh Krishnan, play back singer, Sandalwood actor Diganth and music director Arjun will be the judges for the event.
