A tripartite agreement amongst representatives of HMWS&SB, NGO(AP MAS) and Rajiv Swagruha Residential We l f a r e Association Jagadgirigutta under Qutubullapur O&M Division No.XII was signed on Wednesday.
This is a pilot scheme started by HMWS&SB, as part of the effort to recover the old dues from Rajiv Swagruha Flat owners and also to collect regular monthly bills from them.
This pilot scheme will cover the 1,800 houses in Jagadgirigutta area wherein, the representatives of NGO will collect Rs 215 per month from each flat owner towards water bill, electricity bill, operational costs and NGO charges and will pass on the necessary dues of water bill to HMWS&SB.
This scheme will be replicated in other Raijiv Swagruha Colonies in GHMC areas.
The scheme is the outcome of the meeting held recently by Chief Secretary on Government dues to Water Board to recover the outstandings from 12 units of Rajiv Swagruha.
