Raids conducted on two fraudulent companies

KOCHI: The Economic Offences Wing(EOW) of the Crime Branch on Tuesday raided the office of a money chain company ‘J Cubes Marketing Solution Pvt Ltd’ at Vyttila.The raid was conducted after the police registered a case against the company for allegedly duping people by promising huge returns on the money invested. The EOW team also raided the house of the company’s managing director, who is identified as Johnson George of Mulavukad. The raids were carried out by a team led by DeputySP V Sunil Kumar and Detective Inspector K Aswakumar. According to the police, the company had been operating at various places in Varkala, Neyyatinkara, Mallapally, Erumeli and Wayanad targeting the low-income group.Meanwhile, a group of police personnel from Wayanad raided the office of a multi-level marketing company named RMP Infotech at Palarivattom. The office was raided after the police received complaints against the company for allegedly cheating its investors.  The police team interrogated the employees of the firm and sealed the office. The raid was conducted by a Crime Detachment Squad from Wayanad.
