Chandigarh: In a shocking incident, a class 12 girl who had complained of being reportedly sexually harassed for 20 days by three boys has died after she set herself on fire in Punjab.
The incident occurred in Kal Banjara village of Sangrur on August 5 but no police complaint was registered until Monday.
The 16-year-old victim has named three boys from her village and another from neighboring village as abettors to crime.
All the accused in the case are absconding.
A case has been registered but no arrests have been made so far.
