Pune: People look on as pregnant woman gets stranded in flood waters

Pune: As incessant rains continued to lash Pune, a pregnant woman was stuck in flood waters for several hours before being rescued. The woman was stranded because of the sudden flooding caused by water overflowing from the Bhatghar dam.

The woman was rescued by her husband after being stranded for 10 hours.

Despite a huge crowd gathering to look on, no one came forward to help the woman or the husband. Meanwhile, the fire brigade too reached the incident spot only after the woman was rescued.
