Madhya Pradesh Police Special Task Force (STF) has announced a reward of Rs 3,000 for the arrest of absconding senior IPS officer and suspended Deputy Inspector General (DIG) R K Shivhare who is an accused in the Madhya Pradesh Professional Board Examination (MPPEB) scam.
The IPS officer who is an accused in the Pre-Postgraduate (Medical) entrance exam scam as well as the police recruitment exam scam, has evaded arrest. Shivhare stands accused of getting his daughter Neha Shivhare and her husband Ashish Gupta cleared in the Pre-PG examination 2012 through unfair means, in connivance with MPPEB officials, STF sources said here on Friday.
In a related development, Bargava police station in-charge of Singrauli district Sudhir Kumar Shrivastava was suspended after he allegedly helped his clear the sub-inspector and platoon commander exam of 2012 in connivance with Shivhare, sources said.
