Pakistan continues to dare India, violates ceasefire in Poonch again
Pakistani troops on Thursday violated ceasefire in the Sawjian sector of Poonch district in Jammu and Kasmir.

There seems to be no end to the tension at the India-Pakistan border, with the Pakistani troops daring India once again.

Pakistani troops on Thursday violated ceasefire in the Sawjian sector of Poonch district in Jammu and Kasmir.

Indian forces retaliated to the unprovoked firing by Pakistani rangers from across the border. There have been over 25 instances of ceasefire violation by Pakistan in the last 45 days.

This came a day after a civilian woman got injured as Pakistani troops violated ceasefire in the Sabjiyan sector of Poonch district on Wednesday.

Pakistani troops had opened fire at Indian Army posts and also targeted civilian areas across the Line of Control (LoC).

They fired 81 mm mortars and from other automatic weapons on forward posts and hamlets. Army troops guarding the border retaliated resulting in exchanges which ended around 0300 hours.
