The Kerala State Cooperative Consumers Federation authorities have said that the sale at the Onam-Ramzan fair has crossed Rs 145 crore. The highest sale was registered in Thrissur district - Rs 12.87 crore.
The fair, offering discounts to over 18 items, commenced on July 1, and will conclude on August 28.Thiruvananthapuram has the maximum number of Onam-Ramzan trade fairs - 4,759. A sum of Rs 107.19 crore has been collected from 14 district trade fairs, Rs 29.52 crore from the subsidy counters of the Thriveni Supermarkets and Rs 8.52 crore from the Nanma Stores, said Consumerfed president Joy Thomas and MD Riji G Nair.
