BANGALORE: Denying any cold war between him and his predecessor, Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda said all aspects of governance as well as coordination with the party will be discussed during the forthcoming two-day Chintan Baithak (brainstorming session) starting Friday.  “I meet former CM B S Yeddyurappa at least thrice weekly and discuss various issues pertaining to the state. I do not know what makes you think there is something wrong between us,” Gowda said here on Tuesday. The chief minister, however, refused to comment on the remark made by Yeddyurappa that efforts are being made within the party to divide the Lingayat community. “I am not aware of the context in which the statement was made. It would be better if you ask him,” he added. On Yeddyurappa’s remark that he became chief minister due to luck, Gowda responded, “The whole world knows that it was only due to luck did I become the chief minister.”According to him, there is nothing special in holding the brainstorming session as they were being held for the past three years.“We waited for the Legislature session and UP Assembly elections to get over to hold the session. Hence, we have fixed March 24 and 25 as dates for the session. Party national president Nitin Gadkari will be present on the occasion,” Gowda added. The CM refuted that JD(S) MLAs meet him more frequently than BJP MLAs, and said, “It is a wrong perception... I have to meet everybody.”
