KOCHI: Outgoing AdvocateGeneral C P Sudhakara Prasad has said that he was happy that he could complete his term without giving room for any controversy.
Sudhakara Prasad, who resigned as AG after the Congressled UDF won the Assembly elections, was speaking to reporters here on Saturday. He further said that he had not intervened in the ice cream parlour case. "The CBI can serve notice on the retired judges against whom the allegations are raised. I advised the CBI officials to interrogate them at their houses, which I thought is suitable," Sudhakara Prasad said. He said that further developments in the SNC Lavalin case proved that the legal advice he had given to the state government was correct. He said that the stand taken in the controversial HMT LandHDIL Cybercity case was also correct. "The decision was upheld by the High Court and the Supreme Court," Sudhakara Prasad said. Referring to the allegations that procedure on the Mattanchery BOT bridge case is being delayed, he said that there had been no delay on his part. "The precontract documents are not available yet.
