Nagpur: An eight-year-old boy named Yug Chandak, who went missing two days ago, was found dead in a drain in Nagpur on Wednesday. The body was recovered with severe head injuries and two accused in the case have been arrested, but not before angry locals protested outside a local police station. The duo has confessed that quick money was the motive behind the gruesome murder.
The kidnappers had demanded a ransom of Rs 10 crore, though the police reports suggest that the minor was killed much before the ransom call was made.
8-year-old Yug was the son of a well-known dentist in Nagpur. He was kidnapped from outside his house as he returned from school on Monday. The accused took him away on the pretext of taking him to his father. The incident had sent shockwaves all over Nagpur.
