Mystery surrounds death of 3 girls who went missing in Kerala, police suspects suicide

Three female class 12 students who were missing for ten days were found lying on a railway track in the Palakkad district of Kerala. Two of the girls were found dead while the third girl was found with serious head injuries and died at the hospital.

The police was not able to take the third girl's dying declaration as she was critical and not in a position to talk.

The police have recovered train tickets to Delhi from their bags. The post-mortem report and medical examination shows that the girls were not physically or sexually assaulted.

Police are suspecting that it could be a case of suicide.

The three girls had left for school on July 9 but did not reach on ninth. The police recovered tickets to Delhi from their bags for ninth.
