More protests expected at Hyderabad University against Vice Chancellor's return
The State Human rights Commission has also asked V-C for a report by March 26 regarding the incidents that happened on campus.

Hyderabad: More protests are expected at Hyderabad Central University on Friday against the return of Vice chancellor Appa Rao and police action against students.

This, even as the hostel mess has reopened and all basic amenities like food, water, power and internet has been restored.

The students are demanding dropping of all charges and release of arrested students. The court has reserved its order on Bail to students till Monday.

The 25 students and two faculty members arrested on Wednesday in connection with incidents of March 22 were sent to judicial remand on Wednesday night and are lodged in Cherlapally Central Prison.

Cases were booked against the students and faculty members on charges of damage to public property, trespass and preventing government officials from performing their duties and other relevant sections of IPC in connection with both the incidents.

The State Human rights Commission has also asked V-C for a report by March 26 regarding the incidents that happened on campus.
