SAMBALPUR: Hardcore Maoist Shambati Dubba who was arrested along with two others, including another female cadre, at Amrapalli Chhak in Bargarh district is back in the news for delivering a baby boy at the district headquarters hospital on Sunday.The trio was travelling to Nuapada from Chhattishgarh to abort the conception of Shambati when they were intercepted by police at Amarapalli Chhak on July 24. Shambati Dubba was five months pregnant then.Shambati who was lodged in Nati Bandi Niketan in Sambalpur since her arrest developed labour pains at around 9 pm on Saturday and was rushed to the district headquarters hospital. She delivered the baby on Sunday morning.
