Man shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Seoni

Unidentified gunmen shot dead a man in Madhya Pradesh, police said on Saturday.

The victim, Prashant Agrawal, a resident of Ambika Colony, was called out of the house by the attackers, who spoke to him on his cellphone, late on Friday night.

The 30-year-old went to a nearby grocery shop, where the hoodlums shot him three times from a close range, killing him on the spot, police said.

An old dispute may have led to the murder, Kotwali Police Station In-charge Shivraj Singh said.

A case has been filed and further probe was on.
