The staff of three regions are clashing with each other on a daily basis to run the semi high-speed train

A brawl ensued between loco pilots to run the Vande Bharat Express train running between Agra and Udaipur. As per reports, West-Central Railway, North-West Railway and Northern Railway have given orders to their respective staff to run the Agra-Udaipur Vande Bharat train. Due to this the staff of the three regions are clashing with each other on a daily basis to run the semi high-speed train.

According to an ETV Bharat report, the dispute began during the train’s inauguration earlier this week when staff from the Agra and Kota Railway Divisions fought over who would operate the semi high-speed train. The argument escalated, leading to the damage of the guard room lock and glass windowpane, and resulted in the assault of a loco pilot and his assistant, according to officials.

Notably, the semi high-speed Udaipur-Agra Vande Bharat train began its operations on September 2. The train passes through three railway divisions of three different railway zones. It starts from Udaipur station of Ajmer Railway Division and passes through Kota Railway Division and culminates its journey at Agra Railway Division.
