New Delhi: LG Electronics has announced the launch of the LG G Pro 2 in the Indian market at a not-so-attractive price of Rs 51,500. The LG G Pro 2 has a 5.9-inch Full HD IPS display. Its predecessor G Pro had a 5.5-inch screen. LG says, with a 3.3mm, the G Pro 2 offers a screen-to-frame ratio of 77.2 per cent.
The phone also includes the Knock Code unlocking feature, first experienced on the LG in 2013. LG claims the sound on the G Pro 2 is 30 per cent louder than the G Pro and its 1-watt speaker system is a first for smartphones and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.
The G Pro 2 has 13 megapixel camera with LG's proprietary OIS+ (Optical Image Stabilizer Plus) technology.
The LG G Pro 2 can record slow motion HD video at 120FPS and also can record in 4K. The phone includes a flash for selfie feature that reduces the size of the preview screen and adds a bright white background on the screen in the front camera mode.
