Learn English in Kannada

BELGAUM: Dr Chandrashekhar Kambar insisted that the state government convert all English medium schools into Kannada medium. Kambar told reporters here on Monday, that the policy of the government should let all students gain knowledge in Kannada.He stated, “Let students learn English, Science, Mathematics and other subjects in Kannada.” He said education from the first standard till the tenth standard should be nationalised so that students belonging to other states will also learn their respective languages.Kambar suggested that the government start a few colleges in the state which can teach Kannada from first standard till PG.
