NAMAKKAL: The District Crime Branch (DCB) here has registered an FIR against five persons, including former DMK minister KKSSR Ramachandran, and a managing trustee of a private college, in connection with alleged misappropriation of funds obtained through bank loans.A top police official said on Saturday that the case was registered against the ex-Minister based on a complaint lodged by Dhanalakshmi, wife of the founder of the college, in which she has alleged that KKSSR Ramachandran along with some persons, all trustees of the college, swindled crores of rupees obtained through bank loans.The DCB police registered a case in this connection on Friday.Police said that a dispute over the legal heir of the founder of the college was going on for a long time.
